Interview with the Vampire

Thanks for such a nice reaction :D It is real pleasure write a blog in such a good atmosphere like the one you created!

Ethelie was the first with the answer and made it really poetic!
So Ethelie, if you have any wishes about subject for a post to my blog, just write to me and I will have to find time for it. ^^

Now. as you requested - an interview with the vampire :P

Ańa: Balrog, everybody's curious where your mum is...
Balrog: MAMA! (cuddle cuddle ... at_ten_tion)
Ańa: And where is your dad?
Balrog: Tam (There)
Ańa: And where is your dad ticklish?
Balrog: Ayayayay!!! - warcry comparable to "tickle tickle" ^^ but he manages to locate the foot without a slightest mistake - Mum becomes rapturous until: Ouch! (Dad's toe gets hurt)
End of the interview :/

(taty palec cierpi)
Koniec wywiadu :/

Today we left the rodent at his grandparents', so I could finish painting Typhus :) I hope Mahon finds time for a photo session soon. Ha! And also time to respond to Colonel Shofer's question regarding photos - I mean: Mahon will explain everything about it to you. =D

Now only a few words of comments from me: My photos (except for WIPs) are taken by Mahon, who also tends to take photos for a few other Chest of Colors members. His preferred method is using daylight instead of artificial light, and shooting photos in RAW format to preserve as much information as possible. He told me he's going to write something about his methods of taking and processing images, so stay tuned for more information.

Podrzuciliśmy dziś gryzonia dziadkom i mogłam skończyć malowanie Tyfusa :) Mam nadzieję, że Mahoń niebawem znajdzie czas na sesję zdjęciową. HA!

  4. Oh I get to choose! :>

I have given this some thought, and I think I would like to know more about the technique of shading in black and white and then coloring over it, like you did with this one http://paintingmum.blogspot.com/2011/07/coloring-and-freehands-tzeentch-goes-on.html
I'm intrigued by how this works, especially how you manage not to ruing the detailed patterns when you apply the color on top.

So when you have the time, I'd love to read more.

    thank you :)
