Chaos lord of Tzeentch on flying disc

I promised you photos of the finished Tzeentch characters. Here's the first of them - a Chaos lord of Tzeentch on a flying disc:

Obiecałam zdjęcia gotowych Tzeenchowców, oto pierwszy - lord Tzeentcha na latającym dysku:

Close-ups of a few details that seem a bit lost in the main photos:
Painting of the crystals was described in another post.

And the other side:

I druga strona:

And in the meantime the chaos escalates, but the deeper I am buried in it the better it feels for me. It must be my natural enviroment LOL

Balrog keeps walking around in our flat, pulling and throwing everything to the floor. Well, it may seem to be 'everything' to us, but for him it seems to be a well planned sabotage mission ;))

And today I got rid of the babysitter we had :/

I feel better now but I am also angry that I didn't listen to my intuition.

Had I listened to my inner voice, I wouldn't have decided to hire the Elderely Lady - she was just what I was afraid of: a babysitter who was a total know-it-all because "she raised her own children who made it in life".

The generation gap was too big to overcome. Everyday that she came to our place she nodded her head to show she listened to me and then did everything her own way. And later she was surprised I didn't approve of it, but did the same again. Grrrrr!

Hrrrrr

So we're left alone fighting for the 9th and 10th tooth.

But have no worries, photos of the other model should be ready soon, and later I will try to write something about painting these miniatures.

  2. Very nice model. I love you Tzeentch models and have had discussions about the Lord on disc you did in 2009 and how I have not seen anyone duplicate the cloth. Optical shift with translucent areas immediately made me a fan of your work. Very technical. The recent pictures you have posted here on the blog have been nothing less than pure inspiration, from using the shells, to the never before seen crystal effects you did on the pieces of acrylic rod. Praise aside, I agree with firing the baby sitter. When someone works for you, they should listen. If not, it should be no surprise when they get fired for that exact reason. And kids will always get into stuff they're no suppose to. It's part of the deal :)

  3. Fantastic piece of art, Ana! I love the green-bluis tones, the way you used the shell, or what you didi with the crystals. The freehand on the cloth and blue demon flowing out of the disc are wonderfull...
